How is the Early Career Framework Programme being delivered by CTT?

The Head Teachers of the ten schools in the CTT partnership have chosen to follow the “School Led” Induction Programme for their Early Career Teachers.

All ten schools work with Star Teaching School Hub (Northwest Lancashire) as their Appropriate Body.

The CTT School Led Induction Programme provides a training experience for all our ECTs which is as BESPOKE as possible, whilst also ensuring all areas of the ITTECF are securely met. Our Induction Tutors, Mentors and ECTs work together to ensure each ECT engages with all aspects of the ITTECF across the two academic years, however, the order in which they do so, and the depth they focus on certain aspects, is flexible and applicable to the training needs of each ECT. This allows for sufficient support and challenge for each individual ECT.

Since a significant proportion of the ECT cohort have trained with CTT at ITT level, we aim to avoid repetition of training in our ECT Programme, mindful of which aspects of the ITTECF have already been delivered at ITT level (both by CTT and all other ITT providers).
