I was able to plan and prepare an assembly on Remembrance and the Catholic faith for my Y8 form to deliver to their year group. I was able to encourage pupils who felt unable to speak in front of their peers to participate and to build their confidence which was so rewarding! I have also loved taking responsibility for a form group and building those relationships – this really makes you feel like part of the the school community and one of the things I have loved the most. It has prepared me to have my own form group next year as an ECT and I fully understand the role and responsibilities.
