During term one of teacher training I was appointed teacher of History at one of the schools in the CTT@WWL partnership. I would not have been able to achieve this without the help of the teachers at St Edmund Arrowsmith. The support available to the teachers on this course is amazing and has helped me achieve so much in a short space of time. At school, my mentors and other teachers all played a significant role in helping me settle into the school environment. This course has helped a lot with my knowledge development and teaching methods. A big success I have had is the speed of the progress I have made. Time goes very quickly and the speed of development is unbelievable. The group I have been with throughout my time teaching has been a highlight. It has been great to bounce ideas, and have a large support system while I’m training. I would describe teaching as FUN! It’s fun seeing the progress of pupils, developing relationships with students and learning everyday. Every day is different and the pupils will continually keep you on your toes!
