ECF Mentor – E. Hine – St John Rigby Catholic Sixth Form College

I have really valued the experience working as a mentor on the CTT@WWL ECF programme whilst supporting Declan in his journey to becoming a qualified History teacher. The programme has provided a regular and clearly structured framework that has helped shape our conversations and to enable focus in a meaningful and manageable way, that has helped target key areas for development. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work collaboratively, using the suggested resources to reflect on both his and my own teaching practice alongside subject-specific pedagogy. It has been rewarding to see the positive progress of Declan, and overall, the programme has been a highly supportive and enriching experience for both of us.
