During my first placement, I really grew in confidence and belief in myself as a teacher. I am now convinced that being an art teacher is where I am meant to be. Working within CTT@WWL has been such an inviting and confidence building experience. At the start of the placement, students were a little closed off and unsure about the change of teacher. By the end of the first placement, the students were sad to see me go. Building those relationships with students and watching their skills and enthusiasm grow has been so rewarding and I am excited to see where my teaching journey goes.
